A handsome Albanian villager, Arben, wants to marry Etleva, a daughter from a neighboring clan, but another man is offering 10,000 Euros for her and her father has promised her to him. When it turns out that Etleva is carrying Arben's child, the pressure is on him to come up with the dowry before the baby is born and her brothers take revenge on him for the dishonor he has brought to their family. Fleeing to Berlin without papers, experience or knowledge of the language, Arben soon learns the ways of survival.
