Synopsis

“In Medellín you can't see the horizon.“ When not only the main actor of his planned first film, but also other acquaintances die within a short time, either from an overdose or suicide, director Theo Montoya realizes that the focus of his film has to be a different one. He therefore decides to follow and accompany queer people he knows, to document their lives and to interweave these new narratives and images with those of his unfinished film. Anhell69 allows an intimate and impressive insight into a community that is marked by hopelessness in the face of a city that promises no future.
